| Message | Hello to all the old members of HS-3 that got to take the ORI cruise in 1966. The Rando Cando was one of several served on and I look back and wonder in awe at the time aboard her. Hope that we as a country are allowed to continue this great Navy tradition but I some how doubt it with the present crop in politics. Gentlemen it was my honor to serve with in 1966 and I thank you for the memories. Anyone out there know where one can obtain a CAG-56 patch? |

| Message | I met a gentleman today that was a member of the original Randolph crew. His name is Lou Cataldo and he was in V2 division. He also said he was a PPO and at one point was on the master at arms staff. One of the stories he told me was on the day the P38 hit the ship he was allowed to visit another ship to see a buddy - if not for that, he would have been on the flight deck, in his usual spot, which was where the aircraft hit. Lou is 91 years old now and does not use a cpmputer. He was not aware of this site. If anyone rembers Lou please contact me with your information and I will pass it along to Lou. I'm sure he will contact you. |

| Message | I was on the Randolph from Feb 63 to May 65. I started in air operations and later transferred to the post office. I currently live in The Villages, Fla. and would like to hear from anyone who remembers me. |
