Message	Served as the Medical Service Officer in the sickbay. Served also as LDS Group Leader from 1967 to 1969. Made Med. Cruse,went to Rio,part of decommission personnel at Boston Naval Shipyard 1969. Retired 1 October 1976 LCDR. Enjoyed the ships personnel, and my time aboard.

Message	My father, John Elmer Rhodes, was a musician and served aboard the USS Randolph. Sadly, Dad passed away in 2005 just short of his 92nd birthday. He always talked about his time on the Randolph and was on board when it suffered severe damage during a hurricane.

Message	In the early 60's my dad was a member of the Navy League and we went on a cruise out of Norfolk, Va. on the Randolph for a day of ASW simulations. Being a kid of 13 or so, this left quite an impression. I still have the 8X10 photo taken of our group on the elevator deck. Let me know if you would like a copy. Sincerely, John Reidy Charlotte, NC
