| Message | Goon brought up the issue with Phaneuf playing forward as a D man earlier in the season. It is a much more pressing issue with the addition of Byfuglien. He was promoted to the second line wing a couple of weeks ago and Chicago has now moved a few defencemen around and brought up Barker because they really like Byfuglien as a forward. He is now on the first line and they are skating him with Toews and Kane in practice. Both Tallon and Savard have said they like him there. So with that info, A: Is he being drafted as a F or a D. and B: If he's a Dman are we going to look at parameters for defining positions. ![]() |
