| Message | Poolguide? Any GM who uses a pool guide is a moron who doesnt have the resources to scout players himself. My resources span the globe, and a pool guide is only used in our staff room as a stress relief technique for a good laugh. Obviosly Philly is on a beer budget for his champagne tastes. |

| Message | ha... Toews and Letang were the result of long hours and hard work. Goon, just stick to Mckeen's pool guide... they'll tell you all you need to know. So... are we drafting? |

| Message | I'm fine with starting tomorrow, I was just curious about the date setting. Are there guidelines as to how long you can take to make your pick? Just wondering if you get into trade offers etc, it can take a day or two, but that also gives the late picks an advantage... |

| Message | FYI - last year's re-draft took place on Dec. 22. This year I proposed it 6 days earlier. I'm disappointed that GMs are using the "I'm not prepared" excuse. We all know that a mid-season draft happens in December. GMs should be preparing for this draft a month ago. (it actually doesn't take that much prep. time Mr. C Dogg - if you work a little bit ahead on it). In any case I proposed a slightly earlier date than last year because of GMs holiday plans and overall less access to computers and the internet. The biggest thing is the fact that these picks we make are to be put into our line ups prior to the Dec. 31st end of month deadline. Your input on the date would be helpful. We can not wait until after the World Jr.s - it doesn't end in time. |

| Message | I just want to make sure I can watch all of Team Canada's games in the World Juniors before making my pick. |

| Message | I for one would have a appreciated a lot more than a few days notice to the re-draft. Not all of us have the ability to spend all of our spare time with the FHL and are constantly on top of things. |

| Message | Wow, I go on holidays for one week and my team officially starts circling the drain. I'd make some trades but I think I've killed enough NHL careers. |

| Message | I personally wish my old players all the best as I send them packing... mind you I'm not in a race for anything so really I don't care what they do. The mid-season draft is quite a bit earlier than it was last year. Does it vary from year to year? Is it completely arbitrary? I'm fine with whenever the date is set for, I'm just curious. My picks will be available come draft time as we watch the draft unfold. So any in the race can feel free to send offers. Is there a time deadline for each pick? I know last year I stretched it a bit with permission from the Commish, just wondering if there are any guidelines. ![]() |
