| Message | I will now be out of the province of BC and will no longer have efficient internet access (the places I'm going have sketchy internet). I will attempt to check the board out but if you want to get a hold of me the better way would be via email. |

| Message | it's such an exception that it seems like a reasonable bandaid solution.. if it becomes more commonplace, we may have to look at a different solution. if commish's idea sticks, does shane get to pick someone else if he wants? |

| Message | I think that reasoning sux and would cause for too much work and research by our beloved commish. If the guy is listed on the nhl.com website as a D-man, then apparently the nhl is convinced that he is defense, and if its good enough for the nhl it should be good enough for the fhl, and i'd like to see you get the pickuphockey site to decypher the two different types of points! |

| Message | This is a tough one - I'd say that if a GM wants to take a chance drafting a d man who takes turns at forward that we should count his points as follows - if the GM brings him up to his club as a d then he can only receive points as a d. If he ends up playing forward (i.e. on the roster as a forward - not to be confused with forwards who sometimes play point on a power play or in overtime when it's 4 on 4) and started as a forward for any games during the month he is called up as a FHL d man his points in the games as a forward would not count towards that respective GM's point total. His points as a d would count. Therefore it becomes a risk to the GM taking that chance and not befitting unfairly. |

| Message | In light of the Commish's decision to delay arbitration on the Kessel issue until next summer. The pressure was on the Phillies to compensate Dan to drop the Kessel issue. Further battling the cards in a deck stacked against the Phillies from the expansion get go, we are disgruntled but proud to announce Kessel is here to stay. We have paid for him twice now and the Duke's have benefitted completely from the Niedermeyer issue combined with the indecision from Pool Leadership commitee. To the Dukes: Chris' Midseason Pick To the Phillies: Nothing! the Kessel future considerations are dropped. ![]() |
