I am so looking forward to the season this time as not only have we the making of a stong team the boys are all plesant on my eye... How past players are so last season... | Message | This just to remind everyone that the supportors club are holding a pre season barbeque after the friendlly game against Crawley Down at the Moatside on Saturday July 31st. This will give us all a chance to have a social get together before the start of the new season. Both Graeme Banyard and Dave Tidy are coming and you will have the chance to talk to them about their hopes and expectations for the coming season. The cost is £7.50 which will include your food (which is being supplied by the best butchers in Surrey namely Chapman Brothers and kicked by that great cook Chris Chapman) and one drink. | Message | How sad it is to see Ashford Town bow out of the Ryman league. They had a great Ground and i hope they can bounce back to the Ryman league quickly. The start of the season is 21st August and the fixtures will be out very shortly. |

| Message | Following todays court case, the petition by Tony Betteridge to wind up Ashford Town Fc has been thrown out. In what is a good victory for the club, any further attempts to close the club will have to be held in front of a judge with evidence given by both sides. With the winding up order temporarily resolved the club hope to keep on with preperation for the new season. (Taken from Ashford Town's Website)  |

| Message | According to the Bognor and Whitstable web sites Ashford Town (Kent) have been suspended from all football until further notice. This is becuase they have not paid Ebbsfleet £2000 due from loan deals. Ashford will also be back in court in a fortnight to face a winding up order. The season has not yat started and there is already a club in our league who might even make to the starting post. |
