An excellent evening. I was most impressed with this extremely articulate young man and his honesty and positivity. He has taken on a squad lacking in confidence at a very difficult time but I have no doubts that he has all the right qualities to succeed. The fans now must put their full support behind the manager and the team in the run-in to the end of the season.

MessageJust a thought after reading a few items on other forums today,it looks like there will be relegation from Ryman South this season with two going down and Chatham possibly going back north,so as it stands at the moment Corinthian and Horsham would be going this is because of the Ryman Prem table at the moment with Croydon,Folkstone,Averly or Hastings all coming into the Ryman South with Maidstone heading North.So with 37 points on the table 7 in front of Corinthian ( but they have a game in hand )I feel we do need to pick up a win from somewhere,but I dont know where from with the likes of Whitehawk,Met,Burgess Hill,Walton and Hersham to play we have Godalming,who are on a bit of form,Fleet and Chipstead,I hope we pick upa win from somewhere,because if Corinthian win there game in hand and nick another win from somewhere then the pressure will be on.Come on Mers.Today good first half,second half more give me,s,heads dropping and lack of ability to score a goal,4 games without a goal now and leaking for fun with the usual slopyness,got to start believing but it is becoming very frustrating indeed,Steve Duke how about a drink inthe bar after Ramsgate next week.

MessageHarry I would have thought that it would have been polite for the board to have consulted the supporters club about this meeting as all previous such meetings have taken place under the banner of a supporters club meeting.

I do however accept that the supporters could have been more pro-active in organising such a meeting and I take full responsibity for this.

I can't really understand your attitude to the meeting with Andy Martin. It is not the sole right of the Supporters Club to call such meetings. It is essential that this is done as soon as possible as you only have to read whats on here to see the concerns of the supporters. The Board have made the rigt decision for once and I hope they will be there to show their support for Andy.

MessageCan I just inform everyone that the board have organised the 'Meet the Managers' evening on Monday 21st March without any consultation with supporters club. If this date is to short notice for any supporter it is not the fault the supporters club or any of its officers.

MessageRob you say its not fair to mention players but then you mention the new CM, doesn't take a genius to work out who you are talking about. Ok the boys may have to take the step up but could they do any worse than the boys that are not pulling in the performances that are expected. with no wins in 8 i believe, would it not be a good time to try them. You may have mentioned Colin not having a good game against Whistable if we dropped people down after one bad game we would have a reserve squad or 40.

im totally behind behind the boys to come out of the rut and believe AM will get the right balance and next year once he has the team he wishes to work with we will progress. I just think while we wont make the playoffs or be relegated it would be a good time to try some of the boys out.

lets not forget Ben King was playing youth and reserve football before making the step up!
