He is going to do that sort of back and forth quite a bit, can't help himself from being an adoring Ada, even if he is a King and has this big insult to settle with Imladris. I'm working on fixing up what I've written and at least can say I have a better vision of what i was hoping to do with these next chapters. yep, chapters. i was trying to squeeze too much into one and it ended up a mess. so when this posts it will be multiples again. thanks also for the well-wishes on the job.it's too soon to tell how it is going to go, but for now it is paying the bills so i'm not complaining by any means! |

| Message | Hi Ceren Cae! as always you wow with those wonderful words of praise. thank you seems so inadequate a word for how i really feel. I have been working on aearlinn and have written about 12000 words, none of which please me in the least.sorry, but a re-write is the only answer.i will be working on that today and hopefully will have energy to do so all next week as well. you'll have to exert some forgiveness my way, started a new job and have a vastly different schedule i'm trying to adjust to. i do adapt quickly, takes a bout a week to switch gears and so i feel like i'm back on track again. i am a person who needs a set routine in order to function properly. yes, i do work on Meril Thafn from time to time, and lately i've had some long scenes play out while i work out at the gym. trying to decide between stopping in with Oropher in New Greenwood or moving Legolas and Erestor right into the Severed Realms. have both scenarios running through my mind, have only put the SR one down as yet, but after this re-write of aearlinn i might be able to do so. thank you again for all your support and compliments! |

| Message | What a wonderful, wonderful chapter! I absolutely love Thranduil. He makes such a great good guy or bad guy, as evidenced by Aerlinn and Feud. I am definitely looking forward to seeing more of the relationship between Aras and Legolas, as well as Galion and Lindir. And Legolas' mother. Actually, I'm just excited about everything. | Message | hi deborah, wow thank you! i originally intended to end cuthenin at the chapter where the soul-exchange takes place.that was all there was going to be. then i continued,and gradually got disappointed in how i was handling the story.especially the low key way the wood elves reacted to legolas' additional 'failure' in the pass and his inclusion in hte ring quest.so i backed off. i have about half the next chapter done, which is the same for the next feud and the next meril thafn,too. next aearlinn should be out soon, doing some revisions. thanks for your patience,just started a new job today. |

I so hope there will be more of Cuthenin soon for I am eager to find out what Galdor and Legolas' brothers will say to the events that ended Chapter 20. Dawn: thank you so much. i am trying to make Thranduil a balance of parent and king, but i want him to be a more playful and mischievous Thranduil than maybe is common.someone who loves fun and games but has a limit,and once it is reached then all bets are off. i think maybe his guilt about Legolas' situation mitigates much of his anger against Elrond. Having thought Thranduil would be hostile,Elrond is now on uncertain ground and he is easily fall for whatever tricks Thranduil lays for him. stef: thank you very much! glad you like the 'extras' i've invented thus far.i hope to make Legolas' mum an interesting character, someone who strives to balance her husband's zeal and impulsiveness with steadying wisdom and insight. at the same time,her lineage is going to make it very hard for anyone in imladris to talk down to the wood elves any more. i'm working hard on the next part now. thanks again everyone  |
