| Message | Hi Naledi, Thank you Yes, I think Erestor would have noticed even without that reaction between the true and the false band. eventually. The worst is almost over but the repair work will not be easy, especially for Erestor. Thranduil is waking up, too, but has he really had enough 'punishment' to make the change stick? He has been bitter and self-centered for a very long time. we'll see. it is a step in the right direction, but he has a strong tendency to be possessive and controlling. don't worry about the white door, i wrote the scene so long ago i doubt anyone would remember now. |

| Message | I was so relieved that Erestor finally managed to break through into Legolas' consciousness. I hope that the worst is now over for him. I also thought it was right that Erestor should be the first to notice that Legolas' binding ring had been changed. I loved Thranduil in this chapter. Finally he's facing up to his shameful past. I liked the fact that he's now determined to win back his right to call Legolas his son. I'm not really sure about the significance of the white door, but then I was quite tired when I read the chapter. I will read it again later! Thanks for sharing this! |

| Message | hi stef no worries about delays, hope all is well with work and home i am glad you are wondering over Mithrandir's involvement! it is an important point given what we know about him thus far and Legolas' vow given so long ago. I think the bond has not been undone, else Legolas would not have resisted so strongly and achieved this 'escape', but there has been severe harm done and repairs may be difficult. thank you for your kind words and i was working on it today. |

| Message | Hi Cecilia So glad you are still with me I agree, Meril is the author of her child's destruction. She made him to be used and once he served his purpose she replaced him with the new children. But there has to be feeling in her somewhere, some remnant of raising Lindalcon, and I think she is going to feel it keenly. If there is any hope for Legolas, it has to be with Erestor. Legolas is not going to die, but he is in a sort of limbo and needs to wake up.I am working on more chapters now. ![]() |

| Message | Hi ebbingnight ![]() yes, to me this chapter was a worse cliffhanger than the last one! There is so much that has happened and it seems impossible to save him from himself now that he has been freed, but i am going to give it a shot. Mithrandir does have a part to play. and you are right again, Thranduil is far from his thoughts when it comes to family. who can blame him? thank you again ![]() |
