| Your Favourite Story | Feud |
| Message | Loved your latest chapter for Cuthenin; definitely more light-hearted compared to Feud! I was actually surprised it was Lindir; maybe because I assumed he was as he is in Aearlinn - in a weird way it was funny but also sad (for Lindir that is). I love how you portray Legolas in all your stories he embodies the perfect image of a tragic hero! I just re-read your last Feud chapter...just a few questions... What happened behind the white door? What was the white door? And who was responsible for the whole white door scene...Gandalf?!?! How did they get Legolas to wake up? How will Legolas and Thranduils' relationship pan out? Will Legolas and Erestors relationship be stronger now? What will happen to Elrond and how will Celeborn treat Legolas? How will the Twins react to Legolas??? Sorry, I think I'm off to read Legolas and the Balrog now! Thanks for updating! |

| Message | hi ebbingnight Thank you and I am glad you enjoyed a more lighthearted chapter for a change. The shoes became so much fun to work with and they will carry Legolas to another important meeting soon. Glad you were surprised it was Lindir he had some help and we will take care of that person, too. I think Legolas was good to him, too, even though banishment to Mirkwood for a year is probably Lindir'sowrst nightmare Yes, I also agree that Erestor is rather bitter and not a little bit cruel, but perhaps understanding Lindir's situation may soften him. thank you again ![]() |

| Message | Hi Naledi Thank you and I am so glad the timing was good I was actually thinking of you when I wrote this and there is more to come, much sooner than next year too I stopped here because it was a good place to break it up, but I will see how much I can get done to finish it.Yes, I have been planning to throw that little zinger in for a long, long time and I knew you would notice it at once. Thank you so much and I am really happy I was able to brighten your day a little. Hope all is well and all things brighten for you as the year recedes. |

| Message | I can't tell you how much I needed today's Cuthenin update - it really helped to brighten my day. I loved the dressing room scene - poor Legolas, so worried about making a good impression. But his lack of confidence is understandable, considering how he has been treated by certain people in the Greenwood. I felt sorry for Lindir, too. It must have been agony for him to see Erestor trying to win back Glorfindel, and yet Lindir loved him enough to try to get Glorfindel to go back to Erestor. I hope Lindir can find healing, and that Erestor opens his eyes to the devotion Lindir has for him. But what did Legolas mean by saying he didn't want to lose Glorfindel again? For a moment I thought I'd wandered into one of your other stories, where Legolas is the same elf as Legolas of Gondolin. But this Legolas is very young. Oh well, I hope I don't have to wait for a whole year to get the next chapter of my favourite tale! |

| Message | hi Mel ![]() Thank you for the feedback and I am glad you have questions about it all. was beginning to think this must have been an exceedingly boring and predictable chapter for folks. The ways and means of the awakening are the easiest part to explain and I will make sure to cover it, as well as a bit of speculation about the unpleasant captor as well. I think the most difficult thing is exactly what you mention: Thranduil's change of heart. Yes,he has been horrible here for so long I feel it might be too soon for genuine change to come about, or for it to last past the immediate future. But there is hope that time may give Thranduil the chance to really accept his son and learn to appreciate him truly. That is the goal, but Thranduil has some things to endure first, and Legolas has a lot to overcome in order to heal. Thank you again and I will try to get an update posted soon. Working on Cuthenin today. |

| Message | Hi Alcardilme ![]() Thank you very much for the feedback Well, I am glad you found me over at OEAM; this is the only story I have posted over there. As for the rest of the stuff here, well there is very little Aragorn/Legolas I'm afraid. I hope you find something else you enjoy and thank you for so many kind words. |

| Message | hi ebbingnight thank you You're the best. The holidays are coming and of course I have a hard time dealing with it. Trying not to think about it; it always starts with Halloween. I am writing, and that helps, just slowly, and I did not get laid off, so I have work. survival ![]() |
