| Message | Hello Fellow Grand Bankers,
Freda and I were delighted to hear about Grand bak Come Home Year 2007, and will plan to be there.
We have been in Thailand for more than two years now, and while this is a beautiful place to be, there is no place like home, and Grand Bank will always be home. Our school is gone, but the memories will linger forever.
I fondly remember Mr. Oakley, Mr. Noseworthy, Mrs Forsey, Mr. Thomasen, and even earlier, Mrs. Keating, Ms. Hiscock, and so on.
I can see Melv Cornish being dragged out of the room by Mr. Thomasen and held down because he did not want to get a needle from the nurse!
It would be great if some old classmates from our school come home from the occasion, and I am thinking in particular of the Grade XI class with Levi Warren, Howard Kearley, Diane Barnes, Doreen Keating, Phyllis and Myrna Brooks, Freda, Viola,, Nellie Brown ( who always managed to stay a few marks ahead of me),Max Snook and one or two more. That was some 48 years ago, so perhaps we could even have a little reunion! Anybody interrested?
Check out the website of the place where I am now: www.bcis.ac.th.
Thanks to all who are organizing Come Home Year, and Freda and I will look forward to seeing old friend. Uncle George and Aunt Harriett won't be there, but I know in my heart that they will be there in spirit.
