MessageRuth and I spent a few days in the Dun Chaoin area in October, after going to the Frank McGann Festival in Strokestown. You were right about your home turf. We didn't want to leave! Have learned so much about the traditional music since my class with you in 2005. Just think, I only took your class because I needed something to do while Ruth was taking lessons with Louise. Oh, bumped into Louise and her sister in Bantry in Oct. Small world! Ruth's taking flute lessons with Laura Bryne-Egan in Baltimore now. I took a week-long class with Julee Glaub in Virginia last July, and will probably do that again this year. Best wishes. Don & Ruth

MessageHi Muireann,

My wife and I had a lovely time at the Christmas concert with you and Teada in Washington DC. You have a beautiful voice and we have enjoyed your CD. Your tin whistle duet was great and we agree the Kerry whistles are best although we might be a little biased.

Best,

Matt and Elaine McAuliffe

MessageMuireann, I stumbled on your music searching the "Parting Glass" song on itunes ... a few days later I saw you were playing a X-mas show right near where I live (near Flagstaff, Arizona) ... I went and enjoyed... your voice is very moving. And your presence is great on stage. I will say that I wished to here more of your voice though. Perhaps just yourself, your whistle, and a guitar. So that one may hear the voice more intimately. Thank you! Please continue to share you voice with those that come... and yes, the Parting Glass version on your latest brought this guy to tears. Best version I've known.
