MessageDear Muireann,
I obtained your lovely "daybreak" album as a spontaneous add on to a before Christmas purchase of several other CD's. After listening to all your tracks, I was pleased with what I heard to say the least. Especially Persuasion and The parting glass. A long time and much loved friend of mine, Alan, died of cancer in mid February. His 54 years of life embraced great joy though sometimes depression, numerous friends & family, marriage, divorce, excellent fathering, drumming, dancing, traveling and quiet philanthropy to some good causes. I miss him a lot and upon hearing again your singing of 'the parting glass' I was struck by how I felt this song was delivered to me for a reason through your fine performance. I was going to play it at his Memorial service this past Sunday but neglected to bring a long enough cord to plug in my CD player! I ended up singing it myself even though my voice, while far from good as yours, held forth nicely as I imagined I was doing this for him, you know, to say goodbye. I just wanted to thank you for your part in making my attempt at rememberance of my friend so musical and meaningful. I look forward to your next CD!
Regards, Scott Currie, South Paris, Maine

MessageAwesome and relaxing music! I usually enjoy much harder rock and am not afraid to admit that I enjoy rap music. This, however, is a relaxing change to much of the pop female vocals that are heard on this side of the pond.

Much thanks =)

MessageWhen Ciaran O' Gealbhain left Danu many like me felt sorry that we couldn't have a chance to hear his wonderful voice again...then you came with your unbelievable easy going voice and, what can I say, we surely miss Ciaran, but we are also so happy that Heaven sent you among us!

And you play wonderfully tinwhistle and flute!

Have any plan to come around Venice sometime?

MessageI was in Ireland (Westport, Connemara) one year ago for the first time and liked really very much this beautiful country, the people and the irish music.
(As I´m a photographer and graphic designer, you can see some of my pics from that journey on pbase.com/girafffe/root )
I was in the USA a couple of weeks ago and was looking for irish music (! smilie in Los Angeles and I found your solo album.

I am listening a lot of Christy Moore, Dolores Keane, Sinéad O'Connor´s Sean Nós Nua, The Corrs Home and many others.
As I heard the first tunes of your album I realised that I´ve found a real jewel by clean chance!

It is a part of my every day life since then. I can´t get enough of the songs, the melodies, the gaelish, your voice and your way of singing.
As I have a creative profession myself, I know how important feedback is– independently of how many people are saying the same thing... So, I know that most of the guestbook messages sounds more or less like this, but I wanted to let you know all about this anyway. smilie))
I will looking for your music and I hope I can enjoy it live in a near future – one more reason to take a new photo session in Ireland this year! smilie))
I wish you all the very best
Georg

PS. Sorry for my terrible english, I am working on it... smilie)))))))))
