| Message | Dear Members of 3 Para Reunion Club, On the 14th June 2014 we will be commemorating the 32nd anniversary of the ending of the Falklands War 1982. To this end we are raising funds for the establishment of the Falklands Memorial Way in the Allied Special Forces Memorial Grove at the National Memorial Arboretum. This "Way" will link up existing memorials to military and civilian casualties of the Falklands War. Commemorative trees and plaques have, and are being established to individual casualties from 3 Para as below: - Mark Dodsworth Jason Burt Neil Grose Ian Scrivens In addition Cyril Wilde a 3 Para Arnhem veteran will be located beside the lads above. These are all with the consent of their families. Should anyone wish to help with this project then we would be glad to hear from them. I am working in the Grove most days now and would be pleased to host any visit. Hope that this is of interest. Regards, Mike Colton Secretary Allied Special Forces Association 07929-118598 |
