| Message | To let everyone know - unfortunately Ray Baker ('Airborne Fly-Fishing' fame) was found wandering on Preston railway station last month. He told the police he was on his way to Blackpool to meet his army mates! I believe he had the club's details on him and the police contacted me. I found out from the police the next day that his daughter collected him. I have been able to find and speak to her. He is now in Ward 18 in Solihull hospital. I visited him yesterday and found him wearing a 3 Para polo shirt and wristband - God bless him! He is in a confused state but was glad of the visit. George Duffus and I have made arrangements for the BL to become involved. If anyone can manage then more visits would be welcome. Visiting hours after 1400. Blandy - hear what you say about the Rugby but no need to worry now about over-length AGMs! |
