| Message | Good to see the site up and running, what a great resource. I'm looking to contact Steve Bradley (Ex C Coy), Ronnie Grimes (Ex A?D Coy), Keith Cope (Ex RAP) and Steve 'Dirty Dingus' Dempster (Ex so many Coy's/Bn's!). Gary Teale gave me Brad's contact details some years ago which I never used and subsequently misplaced. Incidentally, some of you may be aware that Lt. Col. Simon Brewis retired from the Army Benevolent Fund in 2006. Simon Brewis was heavily involved with the South Atlantic Fund and his efforts helped many ex-serving and serving members of 3Para/Para Regt overcome difficulties as a result of the Falklands. I would like to ask other members if they would support Simon Brewis's recognition by us, in some way, for the help and dedication he has shown to those and their families who needed help. Simon Brewis was Bn 2IC from 1978-1980 before moving to take up CO Depot Para & ABF. Lastly, I was looking through the members role and I was glad to see that there are so many of you that I know. | Message | Hi boys, I'm looking for David 'Charlie' Browne, Anti-Tanks from 1970 to ????. He was Best Man at my (1st) wedding in 1974 and we were good muckers when I was in 3 Para before leaving in 1979. I know that he originated from Hull, however moved to live in, or on outskirts of Liverpool with his wife (Brenda?) and a host of kids - he was always a busy lad! I think he worked as a set maker for the Liverpool Youth Theater, though when I contacted them they didn't reply. I bumped into him once many years ago on my way back from Ireland, when I passed through Liverpool, but we've lost touch. I would appreciate it if anyone knows his whereabouts. | Message | You should now all have your news letter if anyone has not received a copy please get in contact asap. Regretfull due to a computer glitch in producing the newsletter, 3 of our Comrades names were missed off the Falkaland Remembered Roll of Honour in the newletter, these names are as follows: Lcpl Peter Higgs, Pte Craig Jones, Pte Ian Scrivens. These men died in service of their country and gave the ultimate sacrifice re-capturing the Falklands Islands in 1982. We are sorry for this omission and any discomfort it may have caused.
