| Message | Reminder to Everyone: As earlier stated by Terry Carroll in the guestbook on the 4th August. "The 2 Para Chairman (Dave Singletary) has become involved with the many bereaved relatives of the dead and also the wounded soldiers that, unfortunately, 2 Para have incurred on their current tour in Afghanistan. Thank God, so far 3 Para have been OK. During this he has become aware of a lack of funding for Visiting Officers and also recreational facilities at Selly Oak Hospital for our wounded soldiers. Therefore, he has orgainised a Ladies Night, as way of a fund-raising event, for all regimental reunion clubs at the Metropole Hotel in Blackpool over the weekend 21-23 November". It is obviously something that we should support. Terry Carroll Chairman. The link and ticket details are now ready for reading and/or downloading at the bottom of the NEWSLETTER page. As Terry says this is something which we should all make an effort to support. Bernie McClory [email protected] |
