| Message | Many of you will probably have already heard but Jimmy Hamilton has finally passed away after a long struggle with cancer. Another good man,gone. His funeral is Friday week (25th) in Peterborough. Details to follow. TC |

| Message | For those of you that have not heard, WO2 (CSM) 'Al' Lawrie passed away last month after a long illness. His funeral is being organised by Tam Noble (his son-in-law) and will held next Thursday 10 January at 1230 in The Minster Church Of St.Denys in Warminster. Afterwards he will be interred in a Family Only service. A wake will be held at the Warminster Conservative Club, Prestbury House, 1 Prestbury Drive, Warminster, BA12 9LB. All attending are welcome. | Message | Good afternoon all. You may or may not be aware that myself as Vice Chairman & Gary Teale as Secretary will be standing down from these positions on the committee in March 2019. Myself I have served 14 years as Chairman & 9 years as Vice Chair & Gary as many as the Secretary. We would like members to stand for these position so as the Reunion can continue to grow as the annual function still needs committed people to organise the event so those willing to stand please either contact myself or TC the chairman to be agreed at the next AGM. Thank you all. The second point is on finance & subscriptions. Due to a Bank error most off our Standing Orders were cancelled which has meant a shortfall in funds to pay for the reunion as we have to pay the deposit upfront for the event and we a a club do not hold these sums of money without these subscriptions So if we could ask you please to pay your subscription and for this yesrs reunion tickets as soon as you can as we have to complete the payment some 6 weeks prior to the dinner taking place and re- new your SO asap please. The hotel has a new management system and it is not as flexible as it has been in the past - we need to give the hotel attendance figures at the end of this month, after which unallocated rooms may be sold on.
