MessageJust Got Lucky is the soundtrack of my teens. I was into alternative music, mostly UK artists, and when I heard this song in 1982 it was like "where did these guys come from and where can I get more ?" I had a casette a DJ made me and for years I was the King at parties because I had this song. JoBoxers create an energy, not just music. You guys are/were one instrument. That's how tight the sound is. Everyone else is cashing in on reunion tours, why not you ? Not for the money but to resurrect a masterful musical sound.

MessageBIG thanks to George H. Anderson & Jonathan Karp for keeping "Just Got Lucky" in the game on the 40-yr Old Virgin soundtrack.

Only after my second viewing of the DVD did I realize what a great song this is. I can't believe that it didn't get the attention it deserved in the 80's, and I didn't hear it until now. I certainly would have been on-board then too!

Just Got Lucky is sure to remain one of my fav's! smilie

MessageI remember the first time I heard Boxerbeat, as a spotty 14 yr old. It absolutely blew me away. Listened to it again via the Rhythm Sisters on Myspace and it did the same. Gonna have to go to my mothers and dig out my old vinyl, I remember I bought the album and all the singles and loved everything. Happy days, shame they were so short lived!

MessageWhat a great band the JoBoxers were. I saw you live a couple of times. One of the best bands from the Eighties. I'm surprised you haven't been contacted by bands reunited. I'd love to see you back together again.

MessageBetter to work for than to fight against. Better to create your own market, than to go against the competition. Better to promote your own cause, than to fight against another cause.

When you fight against something, even if you win, you only break even -- and strengthen the resolve of your opponent.

Some fights are necessary. When you're attacked you often have no choice. Yet fighting will rarely get you ahead. The biggest winners transcend the fight, and make their own way unopposed. The best athletes barely notice their opponents. The most successful companies focus on excellence, rather than on the competition. The winner of the race never looks back.

When you have a choice, choose not to fight. Rather, find a way to make your own rules. Defeat your opponents by ignoring them as you make your way to the top.
