You also fail to mention that her husband is the one who is the primary "homemaker"... Yeah, I'm sure you don't agree with that whole concept either... Whatever... The whole notion that a third party, like Barr/Root, have a chance AT ALL of winning is ludicrous at best! Yeah, I don't much care for either of the choices, but I do know one thing... Obama would be the absolute worst choice. I'm with you though, I really can't stand McCain either, and all the talk about the VP is really not THAT important, unless of course McCain drops dead on January 22nd should he win... smilie As far as women working though, what about WWII? If the women had not stepped up, we may not have won the war... Is that a "special case", or should they have just stayed home and said to hell with the consequences?? Yeah, anyway, I disagree... smilie

MessageThe more I think about it, the more I may just vote for a third party. I don't know if I can bring myself to vote for someone I'm not for. Even if it IS a vote against Obama. I'm researching some other candidates and will keep you all posted. smilie

MessageGood post, and I am glad that you are bedridden so that we can hear your thoughts. The whole thing really is simple, and very clearly written in the Bible, though I know the whole "women belong in the home mentality" is so "out of vogue" in the Christian world today. Sad, and even sadder when so many women simply refuse to read and believe the truths of God's Word. If they did, they would be much happier. Of course, we do have a free will, and make our choices...I just hope these women are willing to accept the price they will pay for their choices.
