| Message | Hi Fellas, I wrote a message on Nov 9 and do not recall if I gave my email address should anyone want to say a hi and catch up. I had corresponded sometime ago with Ltc Connors. I was the kid from Brooklyn who stuttered and who spent most of my 30 months in the sqdn motorpool in Fulda exchanging parts for track vehicles. Some of my buddies were Mike Milton and Gary Vance. Are you guys out there? Hung out at Poplight and Pfederstahl. NCO club had the bands Sylvia and one band had a singer named Scotty who did a great Otis Redding. Worked for VA for thirty years now and soon to retire. My email is [email protected] God bless Mac |

| Message | Served in 1st Sqdn from late January '62 until September '64. Troop clerk Hq Troop, staff driver S2 section, infanty section B Troop, part-time troop clerk B Troop and 1st Sqdn Radar Section (PPS/4 and TPS/33). I am still alive and to the amazement of some and the relief of others I remain unindicted and until recently undetected. Should you remember me, keep it to yourself to avoid the embarassment and ridicule that comes with being associated with someone of questionable repute. To my friends from those long ago days, "Greetings" and to those NCO's who endured my youthful stupidity, crassness and the innate ability to open my mouth and insert my foot at the very worst possible moment, and who on times too numerous to mention went above the call to protect me from myself, from the very bottom of my heart, my deepest gratitude and a sincere "Thank you". Old times, old comrades and old memories, grow more dear as the days grow short and memories fade. |
