| Message | Daniel; You have no idea who I am and I really have no idea who you are. I am a graduate from Franklin High School and now teach in Northeast Ohio. I was actually on the school's website 3 weeks ago looking for an email address and I stumbled across the updates your Dad wrote. I was very touched by your Father's recount of your courage and faith. I now check the messages daily to read about your strength and courage. I just wanted to let you know that the Northeast portion of Ohio is praying for you, your family, and friends. |

Through your faith, determination, and ability to smile through all the ups and downs, you show everyone how truly amazing you are. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you. Plus, there are a couple of dozen other people here at Hanover who are praying for you, too. Even though they have never met you, they ask me everyday how you are doing and what the latest news is. | Message | To the Mercer family, Words cannot explain how deeply sorry I am to hear about Daniel. I am sorry you have not heard from me before now but I just found out today. I will pray for you all as I do everyday. If there is anything you guys need please let me know. You all have done so much for me and been apart of the greatest three years of my life. It would be my pleasure to help out in any way possible. I know time is limited, but I would appreciate a note here or there so I can keep up on how he is doing. | Message | Jeff and Pam, It has been a long time. I want you to know that I have been thinking about and praying very much for Daniel and your family. I just learned of Daniel's situation on Thanksgiving day when my dad and sister told me they read an article in the newspaper. I am not surprised to see that Daniel is a star athlete. He had a great coach. As did I. Jeff, you have meant alot to me and have had a great impact on my life. I thank you for that. I can see that Daniel also has impacted many people.
