MessageYes! Optimism for the new year. I'm on board a hundred percent. You certainly deserve a better year.

MessageThat plant glossary is excellent! Thank you for the link; I've tucked it into my Dictionary folder in Favorites. That "pious" orange tomcat made me laugh, too!!! smilie
Gosh, it's hard when you hear how badly your mother treats Nancy [and you, too]. My Mom was treated like that by her mother,- just broke my heart to see Mom try and try to help her. Negative all the way!

Hope your home is snug and peaceful!
Lots of Love, ~ Sil

MessageYou were supposed to be sedated and the doctor didn't wait? You let him hear about it didn't you? I don't think even I could have held back.

MessageWow that is something, that seagull taking the cat's food bowl. I think it's a gull, whatever it is, it's funny to watch and the cat doesn't do a thing, just sits there and watches...smile

Michigan got up to 65 degrees today...It was warm and would have been a beautiful day except for stormy weather most of the day. Lots of rain.

MessageI think that was Scotts way of getting you awake before your sugar dropped any lower. I believe our loved ones, that are now angels, still have a way to communicate with us. Scott knew if it dropped to low you could go into a diabetic coma and that's really dangerous.

Hubby's sugar dropped in the 40's and he didn't even know where he was or what day. Very very scary when faced with this. Now he always takes his sugar before going to bed at night. If below 100 he takes something to bring it up a little. His sugar drops alot during the night. Something he has to stay on top of.

MessageThose mats are funny. I remember vacuum salesmen, but I can't say I've had one call in the last twenty years, at least. The other things are still pretty common, even out in the country where I live (and try to hide).

MessageOh Bonnie! What a MEAN thing to say to you! I saw that picture on the blog and just thought how beautiful you look. And Wil may not be smiling but I see a content, peaceful man there. I never once thought you looked pregnant, for goodness sakes. You are a beautiful lady and don't let anyone convince you otherwise.

Love you,
Sandy

MessageI don't want to have to agree with your vet but I know this is probably the truth. This is probably one of those times in life when you really wonder if what they say is true and we're not given more than we can handle. I'll keep praying for both of you anyway.

MessageWhat a great pool. Mine only has 5 lanes from 3 feet at ends to six feet in middle for each lane. When water walkers come, each picks a depth and walks the width of the pool instead of the length. Us swimmers or early walkers feel guilty at taking up a lane that intersects. but it is all good. I lose the Humana Advantage that pays for the pool, but hope to cover much of it with Wellness from the library and city.

You look great in the pool!!
