| Message | Hey B, I hope you're doing well. I know this is the anniversary month of Scott's passing and you are feeling it. I haven't been around, I know. I also returned recently from a trip back to Southern California. Had a blast. Anyway, just wanted to let you know that I come and visit every time you post, sometimes late but I do make it here. LOL. |

| Message | The polished granite bench is beautiful. I hope you can work out a way to get that, and to get something out of the black one. I think you'll feel better, in a way. |

| Message | Bonnie, tomato paste is used to thicken red chili. Add one to two tablespoons of paste. If you want to thicken a white chili, add a slurry of one tablespoon of cornstarch to one cup of hot water. Do you make white chili? It's delicious. Use Great Northern White beans, ground turkey or chicken (any "white" meat will do) and use sage, cumin and white pepper as your seasoning. I also add a small can of diced mild green chilis but that's optional of course. I made it a few times over this past winter and it's really delicious. |
