Message	Sunday XI **is** promoted to Division Two in 2007 without playing! (for those who have not checked the NDL site...Tivvy lost to Hatherleigh yesterday) So now whatever pressure there was previously is now off but it would still be nice to go the whole season un(b)eaten!

Message	Yes we haven't taken sunday cricket seriously this season because we haven't needed to because our sunday side is very strong (5 or 6 1st team players). We have done what we have needed to so I don't see why anyone can criticise. We have blended fun and success perfectly. The results speak for themselves, so I think its time people stopped criticising as we are doing what is required to win. Next season when the competition is harder I'm sure we will be more serious but its near to impossible to take this standard of cricket seriously. Sunday cricket is designed for fun and its hard to take it seriously after a hard match the previous day!

Message	Given that we will be entering a 2nd team in the NDL for 2007 (subject to approval by the League's AGM), I will be dropping down to help the Club's developmental side. This means that the Club needs to appoint a new captain for the 1st XI next year. Presuming that the current team is promoted to Div Two for 2007, the standard will be very tasty, as Biggles has already said. It will still be possible to have a more relaxed game (by comparison with the Saturday competitions) but we would not be able to be so complacent as we have been this year. Already looking forward to next year!
