| Message | We are all saddened at Shane’s passing, but also comforted to know that Shane is in heaven now. Nearly five years ago Shane married my sister, and I enjoyed the time I spent with him during those years. I spent many days working cattle with him, driving to rodeos with him, and he generously watched our daughter Jenae many times. The world would be a better place if we could all possess a portion of Shane’s determination, courage, faith, and work ethic. Shane also was very responsible with his money and took steps as a young man to insure his security when he later became sick. This foresight combined with the help of his friends and over $20,000 from the Justin Cowboy Crisis Fund helped Shane weather his many trips to the hospital. In recognition of their generosity, I am going to make a donation to the Justin Cowboy Crisis Fund in Shane’s name and would encourage others to do the same.
