MessageI thik that thi swebsite is really helpful to not only those with MS but also to those trying to understand it. Following the release of the charity bands they have become more of a fashion item than a way to help charities. So many people do not know the meanings of the bands that they wear to look cool. This site has offered the opertunitie to give information to those who want to help the charities. They may be cool but they are also important to help fund research that is necessary to help those people who have life threatening diseases to overcome them and once again lead ordinary lives. The research can also help prevent the spread of disease and prevent the start of it. These bands ROCK. smilie smilie smilie smilie smilie smilie smilie smilie : smilie smilie smilie smilie

MessageGreat website. I have just started Rebif, which I know will take a while to produce a result. In the medium term I am hoping effective treatment (ie a cure) can come from gene therapy with Olig 1 research, or stem cell reserach or from goat's serum...everything seems to take so long though. I have had MS for 15 years and am slowly deteriorating, much to my frustration.

Messagesmilie I have found the web page interesting. I have had MS for 27 years (relapsing/rimitting)recently I had a relapse 9December 2004 Not a very nice peroid, I had double vision tingles numbnessloss of blader control and the tremors. i received Methprodusolone intervenoiusly and within 5 days my sight inproved and was back at work 8th Jan 2005 . It is now March 2005 qnd I have lost the vision in my wright eye of which I am receiving Dextomethesone introvenoisly and hopefully my vision will return. I would like to finish by saying I think the future of treatment for MS sufferers needs to be improve ,if I had a broken arm this would be treated on the day it was diagnosed I contacted my nerologists over aweek ago and have still had no contact (this was through my GP ) I drecided in the end to go to accident &emergency where I am receiving my present treatment !!
