MessageTo Deborah Withrow, I served with your dad! He made First Class AT when we were in V-6 Division together. He was very proud of being from Staunton Virginia. He was my leading Petty Officer and a good man.

MessageI am the editor of the Yorktown Association newsletter and researching an article on the loss of the No. 3 elevator. Anyone one with info or photos please give me a yell. If you would like to submit an article, that would be even better.

Our news letter comes out twice a year. Be glad to send an e-copy.

Thanks,

MessageServed on the Randolph in OE during late 66 through early 68. Most of that time I was in charge of the UHF gang and Section Leader. If you were there at this time do you remember Batman?!I was the one that got the air conditioning working again in Radio 9 dropping temps from 100 plus degrees (which lasted several years) to the 70's.
