| Message | Brigus is breathtakingly beautiful! Looking for Alan's birth family, the Kings of Brigus, the family home was on Beaver Pond. Grandparents were James and Elizabeth, they had 12 or 13 children of which his mother was one of the youngest. Father's family were Rowes from Heart's Content - grandfather was the cable telegrapher. Do you have any connections? We would love to hear from any cousins of our generation (born 1948) and share life stories. Hope to visit soon, from Ontario! |

| Message | To those who may be interested in seeing lots more photos of Brigus, there is a facebook group called, Brigus Conception Bay Newfoundland. There you will find over 900 photos, old & new,beautiful & some maybe not so beautiful but all worth viewing. Maybe you have photos that you would like to share with others and would add them.Brigus is definatly one of the prettiest towns in this province. |
