| Message | Wow. I am in awe of this story. Started reading this last month. It drew me in from the beginning and has been distracting me from my homework. Well written with amazing imagery. Just an fyi though. The last few chapters on aff.net are off. I ended up really confused because parts were missing (like Rochendil's fate). Luckily I was able to read them at your site. Thanks for that. |

So happy you like this last part; i think it defines what Legolas sees in his trees and what I see when I look at the immensity of green life. I think of the tall trees out west in my country and a few scattered places around the world that have been alive for so many hundreds of years. Your kind praises warm my heart and make it so much easier to see the story end. Thank you again |

Anchored in majestic splendour, held fast in winter's grip, the forest dreamed in shades of green and gold of birdsong and running streams. This is pure poetry! Elladan and his father are very much alike in this story and i wanted to show how he deals with the inner conflict and the deep rage he harbours compared to Elrond. Elladan has really been struggling with this situation. glad his method of testing his cure was a surprise Yes, Legolas is going to be all right. thank you again fr your kinds words. |

| Message | Wow - amazing chapter. I liked the theme running through that the characters who are more spiritually centred (if that's the right way to put it) are the ones able to make a sacrifice. It came as a complete surprise to me when Elladan announced that he'd been taking his tincture to test it on himself, but it shows how determined he is not to follow his father into sin. I have to believe Elrond will eventually be able to find redemption. Meril's end was horrific, but there was a justice to it too, considering the suffering her schemes caused. And Legolas is well on the way to healing and becoming a member of the fellowship. I loved Elladan's Silvan guide. I couldn't help wondering if he was one of the ghosts. And you portrayed Elladan's fear in the dungeons so well. I had to keep looking away from the screen to assure myself that I wasn't plunged into darkness! I really enjoyed this. Thanks for sharing |

| Message | It is a relief to see Legolas and Erestor together again. The wraiths have been given a hard kick in their asses which they deserve. What will happen to Elrond and what will the others say when the happy couple are seen again? |
