I ran into a bit of trouble, because I have too many versions of it (been kicking around in my head a long time) so I am trying to sort it out and decide which story line to follow through to the end. Sorry it is taking a bit of time  Yes, Feud is a little daunting and it is very dark, so that one will take a lot of effort to get through. Thank you again for so many compliments :D |

I love your writing style - I'm new and I've only managed to read half of what you've written! I started with your most recent project (Oh Sorrow) from what the other comments have said - and it's got me gripped! I can't wait to read the rest of it! I agree with your thoughts, Legolas' longing for acceptance and love from someone who does not want anything in return - a strong and loving father - is pivotal to his mental crisis. Thranduil hated him, Malthen betrayed and used him so terribly, I think if Erestor hadn't fallen in love with him he would never have survived. Thank you again for such kind words |

I was surprised anybody found it as I just sort of put it in there to look at how the design looks on screen live. the story is at present 8 chapters, btu it needs work and I am trying to fix it while trying to finish Cuthenin and a Feud missing scene, too. So may be a while before another chapter. Thank you for finding it and your kind words here! Yes, poor Legolas, as always, and now poor Elladan too. :D |

| Message | Hi, I first found your story 'Feud' on fanfiction.net and already left a review there. When I stumbled upon your personal homepage, I was absolutely delighted to find the completed version of my favourite LOTR fanfic yet! I spent a couple of sleepless nights to finish it (played havoc on my skin) and now I stand in awe. Actually this happened many days ago but I still stand in awe. I'm not a native speaker of English and words fail me, but this is one of the best things I've ever read, fanfiction or otherwise. It was a heart-wrenching experience to say the least. When Legolas asked Erestor about Elrond, I was near tears, it was so painful. 'Legolas was seeking his father' - for me that simple sentence was the most compelling one in all of your amazing story. Oh I could go on and on about how good it was but I'm sure I've made my point. Thank you again for sharing this with us and I'm looking forward to seeing more of your work! |

| Message | I just found 'Oh Sorrow'. I've not noticed it before, so I don't know if I just missed it before or if it's new. Anyway, I enjoyed this opening chapter. I like how you keep us guessing as to why Legolas should be grieving or why Elrond immediately jumps to the conclusion that Elladan's done something terrible. I'm looking forward to more. |

| Message | Hi L Well, I didn't think anyone would discover that so quickly  I am pleased you see promise there and thanks for the feedback on Elrond. He was quite distraught and I did worry if it was too much, for in this story I am probably not giving as much. He believes he has been forced to confront the most unsavoury aspect of his eldest son's character and right on top of that a deeply troubling vision. Only after all this goes on does he discover the proof of the bond in Legolas' eyes. Well, knowing me you know it is going to be dark and sad. So, I better carry on now that it's been found. Thank you again :D |

It's interesting to see him so erratic in his emotions and actions without it being so out of his character. Very believable.
