| Message | Happy Valentine's Day to you, our precious son. Today the sky is blue and the snow glistens from the sun. Dad and I went for a ski and remarked on the beauty of the morning, a sign from our angel to us. This afternoon Dad is gone for a run on your skidoo...guess you'll be there with him. You are always in our thoughts and today we remember your first Valentine's Day away (you left for Edmonton February 9, 2000). You sent a beautiful basket of flowers. You never ever forgot any occasion and we cherish these memories now. This year our card was from Alley...she has been god-sent (or Ryan-sent) for us all. Hope all you precious angels get together for a Black Horse today...we have the best watching over us. Until we meet again, love Mom & Dad. |

| Message | I would like to thank Ryan's mom and dad for attending Uncle Clarence's funeral. We truly felt a sense of peace with you there. Melanie, it is a small world. I have had so many conversations about you and your family over the past couple of months and did not realize that we knew each other. I was talking to Susan the day she made the connection. I would like to let you and your family know that I think of you often. What you have done in Ryan's memory is beautiful. It seems that he has left quite a legacy. Also, thank-you for posting pictures of Uncle Clarence. He meant so much to me as he was always there for me when I was growing up. It comforts me to know that he had so many great friends away from home. Please keep making posts and adding pictures. Take care and thanks for everything! |

| Message | It is strange but from time to time I wake up after having a dream about Ryan and then I can't get him out of my head for days. Today I decided to visit the website and drop a line in remembrance of my best guy buddy in the world. Early this Christmas I went to Pearce to present the music scholarship. As I sat in the gym with hundreds of 13-16 year olds I couldn't help but reminise about all the moments that Ryan and I and our friends shared there in that same place, possibly in the exact same spot that I was sitting. Time is a strange concept, it passes and it takes with it precious memories and events that if you are lucky you capture instances of to hold on to. I couldn't help but wish that I could reverse the clock and be in one of those moments with Ryan again and take with me a little extra this time. An extra hug, or smile or compliment that he sent my way. I also wanted to get up and tell those kids to hold on to these days and cherish the friends you make. Perhaps the one that seems the most special or the one that seems to always of been there may not always remain. Ryan has been in my life since I can remember. I have little things to remind me of him everywhere. Like my Grade 3 class picture where Ryan ruined my dress,the Teddy he gave me in Grade 6 as a xmas gift. SOme things I can see others I just remember like the few but important private conversations we shared that really helped me understand this amazing man who was my friend. I love you Babe Amanda |

| Message | Hi John, Shirley and Mel, I am just reading through some of the many messages that people have left recently. It's easy to see that Ryan had many close friends and continutes to be missed a lot. It's still hard to believe that he's gone. No matter how many years go by, I can still picture him so clearly and hear his voice say, "Hi Toots". I met Ryan when he was just a kid, and never thought that I would end up enjoying spending time with him and Mark as much as I did. I was excited about seeing Ryan during the Holidays as much as I did my closest friends. Friends and family were drawn to Ryan and it's easy to see why. I just wanted to send you a quick note to let you know that although it's been three years, Ryan is and will always be remembered. Take care. Love Susanne |

While looking through your website I can see how the two of them had similar personalities. Both had a passion for life and living life to the fullest.
