MessageI was very blessed to call you a friend Shawn!You were always there when I needed to be cheered up or give me tips about fighting.When I had my shoulder surgery last month and was very down I got an email from you telling me to keep my head up and focus on getting better.You said I can come back from this to fight even better.Also when I came back from South Africa I saw you after the fights at Rama and you said don't worry just learn from this and come back stronger.I thank you for always being there.RIP my friend.

Messagei will never forget the fight where shawn was calling combos and sam threw everything he was calling on beat. it was like shawn was playing a video game. he will be greatly missed. my prayers go out to his family and friends

MessageShawn did so much for this sport, particularly in Canada where some of the best fighters in the world have come from. I remember some of Tompkins guys in the old organization UCC, I used to watch those fights every day when they were aired here. RIP Shawn and thank you for all you have done.
