MessageAs an up and coming mixed martial artist, one of my dreams was to learn from one of the best striking coaches in the business and you were definitely the top of the class. You will be missed dearly in the MMA community, may you rest in peace.

MessageI am very sorry to hear the news about Shawn. The Good truly do die young. Now he can watch over every one he cares about all at once. Shawn has set a very good example for those behind to follow. My son Tyler "The Timebomb Almas" is up and coming and will miss out in Shawn's wisdom. My prayers go out to his Family and close Friends. Shawn will be in our thoughts when ever we think of MMA, which is a lot right now.I truly hope Mark, Sam and Chris will carry on with the wisdom he shared with them, to bring others up the way he did for them. Shawn "The Coach" Tompkins will not only be remembered for what he did for MMA but I am sure for the impact on all of the people he has ever come in contact with. Thank you for sharing him with us. Sincerely: The whole Almas Family

MessageI only had the pleasure of meeting Shawn a handfull of times, but he always treated me with respect and kindness. If it weren't for him and his team in London I wouldn't be who I am today. He made such an impact on the team in London and indirectly on those who are trained by his fighters. His legacy will never be what it deserves to be. Shawn Tompkins is one of the biggest losses MMA could've suffered, and he will always be remembered

MessageThe first time i met shawn was at a seminar he was hosting in Stoney Creek this year. I was definitley nervous because this guy trained the best of the best i didnt know how he'd be in person. The seminar was amazing and he explained to the group things like how he got into becoming a trainer and highlights. Definitely a role model to all and will be deeply missed be all.
