| Message | My father William E Self moved to Alabama city with his father Edward L Self from Rome Ga. My father ,his sister Lilly Belle (Poore) followed their father after their mother died in Georgia Ihave no knowledge of my fathers family eccept that he had a cripple uncle named Dock that also lived in Alabama City. My aunt Lilly Belle lived in a house on top of hill on Bomar street with an old abandoned water reservoir (cement water tank) in their back yard. Any long lost relatives out there?? | Message | Wonderful! Gen. Nathan Bedford Forrest was my five times great uncle. His brother, Jesse Anderson Forrest was my four times great grandfather. I've just recently trace this back but have been told all my life that he was a great uncle of ours.
