| Message | Bill and Susan, Please know that you continue to be held in our hearts before the Lord. Last week while my wife and I were out for a walk with our grown daughter (visiting from Chicago), we passed your church on Islandcrest Way. As I looked up at the church sign and thought about you, what should greet me but a young buck (with a growing rack of horns) looking back at me. It was so beautiful. So amazing. So unexpected. I took that sighting as a gift from the Lord. In that rare deer sighting on M I I reflected on how God surprises us unexpected evidences of His grace when we least expect it. May He do that for you guys today. (I wanted to take a photo to send to you, but by the time I got my camera out, he took off). |

| Message | Much love and many prayers are going up for you from me and all your friends at Lutheran Church of the Cross in Kent, WA, Bill and Sue. I hope to visit with you soon because I have a gift for you from our church. I just got back from 3 weeks with our newest grandson and didn't want to leave. I think I'd like to be their "manny" (instead of nanny) and watch baby Isaac all day while his parents work. I chose the wrong career I think! I will call you tomorrow and hopefully reach you so that maybe in the next 2 or 3 days, I can drive up and see you if you're up for it. God bless! You're in our hearts.
