| Message | Bill and Sue, What a journey to have to take! Usually we assume that we have a life-time together. Suddenly that all changes. It's not fair. . .it stinks. . .it hurts. Death ruins so many things. Two loving people watch themselves be torn apart. Truly at a time like this one needs to be anchored in something far more solid than even the rocks on this planet. We cannot do an end-run around death. We cannot escape by hoping for immortality. Our mortality drives us to a more solid Rock. Here is one who has entered into death, gone through it, and came out victoriously. That's a hope to hang on to! We've been in and out of town a lot this summer and will continue to be through the fall, but we coninue to pray for you, and have Calvary pray for you wehen we are gone. Your blog indicates that your faith and hope are being maintained. We pray that continues. Grace and Peace, Paul |

| Message | Hi 'Wild Man Bill', Sue, Amanda, & Karl: I wanted to share a little of how your family has touched my family's life. Nancy is due soon (boy!) & so the 3 sisters went out for dinner & reminisced. We love the Christmas/Easter morning call... the phone rings... my dad runs toward the phone & shouts "Its Wild Man Bill!" On some Christmases Fred talks Bill through setting up some new electronic gift the Clements received. We love the tradition! We sang about your family during childhood devotions... Your verse was "He's got the Clements & the Bachs in His hands. He's got the Clements & the Bachs in His hands... He's got the whole world in his hands." I learned the life lesson of how bad it can hurt when a friend moves away the day your family headed west. One of my most vivid memories is the day your family came over to say goodbye. When you drove away I watched as my dad held my mom in tears. There's been few times I've seen my mom cry like that (I hope she doesn't mind me sharing). But I knew I felt the same way as our wonderful family friends drove away. I love you Clements - our family friends. I have wonderful memories of our vacations together to Nippersink & visiting you in Washington. I love seeing you in our family photo albums coloring Easter eggs together or playing some outdoor game. And although the times I get to see you are not often anymore, you are always in my thoughts & wonderful childhood memories. THANK YOU FOR BEING OUR FRIENDS. |
