| Message | This breaks my heart to read. Telling my own Baptist family that I had found someone that loved me more than anything and accepted me for who I am, who just happened to be female as well, was one of the hardest things I've ever done. No, they didn't approve at first, but I'm thankful to say they never resorted to something so hateful and cruel as this.
Even IF Bryce has gone into this therapy farce willingly it is common courtesy, not to mention a display of love for your "brother whom you have seen", to explain in person that you wish to end a personal relationship. It is not a mother's, father's, sister's or news agency's place to break up with someone. It's hypocrisy to point out that Bryce is an adult in one breath then declare yourself his life screener in the next.
May God truly open your eyes to the damage you're causing by your interference in allowing Bryce to resolve his personal issues HIMSELF.
Travis, I honestly hope and pray this will have a happy ending for the two of you. Don't give up on him. I went through my own period of questioning my faith & choice even after I came out. Then I heard the wise words my sister-in-law threw in my mother's face while she ranted. "....you prayed that she would find someone who loves her. Is it God's fault you didn't specify a man?" |
