| Message | TRAVIS: Hi, I am from Bryce's hometown. There is a forum that has been started there due to your story... Would you please comment on there about what is really going on. Unfortunately he Faulkner's have suppressed the local newspaper and news here to the point that they will not even discuss it. This has lead to people on the forum gay bashing, and the point Bryce Faulkner's whereabouts have not been discussed thoroughly. | Message | To JohnK I thank you for your post, you seem quite sincere and I appreciate that but believe me when I say, Bryce is doing great!! He asked for help, his parents did not "force" him to do anything. He really asked for help. As I have said before no matter what he decides his family will love and support him. What parent would know what to do if their child came to them and asked for help because they were confused and struggling. His parents did the best they could do, nobody may agree but it was between his parents and Bryce not everyone who has gotten involved. Please believe me when I say....he is doing great. Hope all goes well for you also. |

| Message | First of all "webmaster" you right that Debra should step out of her son's life because he is an adult. Since she gave birth to him and has loved him his whole life and you don't even know him, maybe you should take your own advice. Bryce is fine and by the way his parents DID NOT force him to do anything. He came to them and asked for help because HIS faith was shaken. I don't know if anyone on here has a strong faith background and it is not up to me to judge anybody but for the ones of us who do have a strong faith when something shakes you to your core that is what you fall back on. As I have said, his parents are great parents as well as the rest of his family and we love him no matter what but BRYCE chose this, he asked for guidance and he is doing great!!! I hate that it has gone this far and people think that he is being held against his will that simply is not the case. Also the emails that were posted here from his mom and sister are all fabricated. Everyone needs to take a step back and really think about this. | Message | Frankly, I don't understand why this is still going on. We here in the USA have hundreds of Private Investigators, and MORE than enough "de-programmers," yet he remains hidden? Bryce and Travis, you are in my thoughts and prayers, and will remain so. To those who believe that ex-gay programs work, well, they don't, and usually only make matters worse. Believe me, I have tried for more than 10 years to rid myself of my same-gender attractions, and they have not gone away. I finally had to accept myself the way I am, and know God loves me - the REAL me - not the face I let the world see for convenience, or safety. What is being done to Bryce is a CRIME in the eyes of many, even if it isn't yet in the eyes of the Law. It will be one day, and hate speech will be outlawed. The people who believe this "fable" of ex-gay rhetoric are - plain and simple - being duped, and dumping hundreds and thousands, possibly millions of dollars down the drain. If the parents REALLY love their children, they will accept them the way they are. When the people who leave these types of programs reject their parents and their faith, what will the parents have left? |

It's a little past 3:00 am and I can't sleep any longer knowing that you are still imprisoned. I see that some of your so-called family members have been leaving you messages in your guestbook. I find it amazing that they would take the time to write words of support for your parents instead of demanding your immediate release and unconditional love and support.
