| Message | Hi Bryce, I wrote a few weeks ago in this guestbook to you. Tonight I met with Travis, his mom Tonya, and several other people who are devoted to helping you come home back to Travis and his loving family. Tonight I felt honored to be elected as treasurer of a new non-profit organization that is being formed in your honor. We've decided to call it Friends of Bryce. For even when you are returned to those of us who love you, we hope the organizartion will carry on in memory of all you had to endure to help those that are going through the same thing. Our goals are simple, return you to your rightful place with Travis and be showered with love and then continue to campaign, strategize any way we can to destroy all camps such as this and provide help to others like you. With the blessing of GOD we can know that these goals will be realized, and as you can see in this guestbook...there is a whole world out there waiting to help make it happen. Be strong, have faith, and keep hope that one day soon this will all be over and you will be in Travis's loving arms once again. I can't wait to meet you. My thoughts and prayers are with you. | Message | It never ceases to amaze me how right-wing christian fundamentalists continue to ignore all the other things stated in the bible, yet pick out such tiny snippets and twist them to support their extremely narrow and bigotted views. What can we do? I feel so helpless, and can only think deeply about the pain and agony that Bryce must be going through now. I just hope he can (somehow) escape from these bigots, or (in the absolute worst case scenario...) he comes out at the end of 14 months with his mind and faculties still intact so that those gay and supporting friends close to him can make contact again and give him the love and support he obviously and so desperately needs. There should be laws in place to prevent these idiots from forcing non-consensual "processing" in situations like this. |
