| Message | Bryce, God loves you no matter who you are, no matter who you love. I had a similar coming-out experience with my parents. I was met with fear, anger, and hatred. They wanted to send me to a similar camp to make me "straight" again - but I refused. I was happy with who I was and realized God loves me no matter what. Since then, I have been with my partner Devin for four years of love and happiness; my parents have changed for the better and now have no issues with us (they even love having Devin around). Follow your heart and love will find a way. You are not alone. It's hard when parents force ultimatums like this, but know that your story has already affected lives across the world and that you are loved and have support. Travis loves you, and that's worth everything in this world. Please come home to him. Together you two can take on the world and you'll find that life has more in store for you. | Message | I pray to God you are well and you are able to hang on. Without knowing why, there are challenges in life to test our ability to hang on. I don’t know why they appear in our lives but I think that, beyond them, lies happiness among the beloved ones. It saddens me deeply to learn that there are still parents and people who still think homosexuality can be healed and jerks who make gay persons suffer badly. I realize what you are going through. When I was 20, when my parents found out about my sexual orientation and after a tough battle with punching and kicking, they threw me out of the house telling me that I am embarrassing the entire family. I am no longer part of that family and I never saw them again since 10 years ago. Then, there I was on the street, sleeping on the stairways for apartments, eating only pieces of bread. But I have worked hard and I was able to come through. Now I try as hard as I can to help others not to go through that same experience I had. It is so important to have by your side people who can understand you and realize that the sexual orientation is just as unimportant and superficial as the color of the eyes or the possibility of being right-handed or left-handed. | Message | The first action is to get Bryce back to a safe place, but I see a book and movie here about being in an ex-gay survivor camp. This would really show the world what this christian exorcism is really about. Any one have any connections with a movie producer or director. Bryce’s family just created a hero for the gay world. Bryce could possibly make a financial bundle out of this. Then, he could tell mommy and daddy to love and respect him for who he is to go to hell. Good luck Bryce. Fight back for you. So sad, when your parents become your prisoners and torturers. My mother tried to do a similar thing to me. She still refuses to soften here heart and ostracized me out of the family.
