MessageI'm writing this on Kathy's website, but I guess it is directed to her children.

I just had to say that I LOVE Kathy Sandbach!

I had the pleasure of hearing Kathy's lecture at a Chico guild meeting when I was traveling with River City's Opportunity Quilt in 2004. Later I was fortunate enough to book her for the Folsom Guild during my year as Program/Workshop Chair in 2004-2005.

I learned soooo much about machine quilting in her lectures and workshops!

Wishing Kathy a healing miracle. She absolutely deserves nothing but the best for all that she has shared with other quilters!

MessageDear Kathy
You came to speak and teach at the Peninsula Quilters group, and we loved your liveliness, creativity, and your teaching skills. So we are sad to hear that you are sick. We wish you the comfort of family and friends, and hope that your emjoyment of color and form is undiminished.

MessageIt was a pleasure to meet you, Kathy a few years ago while we were both vending at a quilt show in Redding, Calif.
Kathy you gave me the feeling that we had been friends for ever. You had even invited me up to your place in Oregon someday. I am so sorry that someday won't happen now.
I will always remember your great personality.
I wish you, Kathy, and your family the very best and you all will be in my thoughts.
Take care,

MessageKen and Kristine,

I'm so sorry to hear about your mom. All of you are in my prayers. Words are of little comfort at a time like this, but know that your mom's many friends and fans are thinking of her and you.

A fellow quilter,

MessageDear Ken and Kristine,
As you know I have worked closely with Kathy for many years with her travel plans and Empty Spool Seminars.
I am so sorry that she has had to go through this and I also know how hard the two of you have tried to make her comfortable during this time.
She has always been so proud of the two of you and I know how close you have been with your mother.
My heart goes out to all of you.
Love,
Suzanne
