We are reading with interest because we will soon be buying a motorhome. We would like to travel a little more here in Mexico and visit family in the U.S. We spend some time every year in La Manzanilla Mex. and would hope to RV there in the future. | Message | Hi Croft: I was reading your blog about the Virgin BroadBand to go. To start with I'm not a computor "Techy" but I met afriend in Via Cornoa who had a Gadget he called a WIFI Booster and he could pick up and amplify the WIFIsignal from about 200 M. I was so impressed that i started looking for one and i got one from RadioLab. It is a simple looking 2ft Antenna which connects to my computer USB Port. My neighbour, about 200 ft away has a route which I can pickup but has 2 Mbps and 2 bars. When i connect my "booster" I get 54Mbps and 4 bars. Is this the same type of amplifier that you have or is yours something different. cheers. tom |
