| Message | Hey Andy, I saw your parents last month and your Dad was telling me how you go the the 24 hour workout center in Houston after the treatments. You are the man!!! Marathons, workouts, adventure trips and all the other stuff you do while fighting this is more than most people do without a fight! Andy...I don't know if you knew this about me but I have a very good sense of things. What I mean is that I can feel things. Like when certain teams are going to win or when things forward will happen. Most people don't know this. I have a very positive feeling about you!!!! In other words I know you have the strength, will, and desire to beat this. I think it is great that the tumors are out of your lungs and improving in the legs. Now is the time to get them out of the brain. Natalie, Trey, Drew, Ellie, and I think about you all the time. We will be in Glendale over Thanksgiving. | Message | Dear Andy, I learned about the abrupt change in direction for your treatment plan. You're right, cancer is tricky. But, it is now messing with the wrong part of Andy Caress. You have always had a special way of being in this world and you put your whole mind, body and spirit into everything you do. It's that wonderful whole who is fighting the cancer. So, how to respond to the mean, swift, deliberate attack? Using the tennis analogy (and please forgive me because I cannot play the sport), you hit back an ace. Unfaltering, quietly, swiftly when the opponent least expects it. I know this is easier said than done. But, it's your gentleman's way. Now, here is a visualization for you because it is what is happening all the time. Think about all the people you have ever seen, known, touched in your very special way. Imagine them in unison chanting: An-DEE, An-DEE, An-DEE constantly. All of them are sending you intense love and positive energy all the time. Just as we gather strength from you, we chant in unison. Sammy was a hot dog, she had on buns with ketchup;Mumble was a skunk,white paint down her back;Reese had on a curly blonde wig; and Megan's new black lab puppy was a shark and took 3rd place in a contest!!!
