MessageHi Andy,

It is the day after the surgery. I am sure you are sore and anxious about the next steps in this journey. Jenny and I tried to follow as closely as we could what was happening yesterday, not wanting to bug your Mom and Dad. We were both throwing up prayers all day long. You, Candi, Bob, and Robbie are constantly in our thoughts and we wish we could do more. Reading the numerous postings on this wall confirms what I always new about you Andy. You are one of the GOOD GUYS in this life. Leaving you with one last thought. You only have 11 more days till the Turkey Bowl!!!!

MessageHey buddy. Just wanted to say you're in my thoughts and prayers. You're the man and this isn't going to set you back at all. I know how much friends and family can mean at times like this and you have a lot of that so make sure to take advantage of the support. Take care of yourself. Love you bro.

MessageI hope it went well today. Sounds hopeful that they only took a couple lymph nodes. I am on my way to play the masters division of the tourney. Played Fabiola last night and it was 2 and 2. I guess I could have been smooshed even worse. Thinking of you. Don't worry about merchant pass, you are on the list at The Tug. Susie is working on something too. You will be hopefully fast enough on the slopes to see my tush way at the bottom as you carefully maneuver your way trying, but not succeeding, to catch me. Think good thoughts. You are the best guy in the world. Don't forget it.

MessageHi, Andy.
We've all been thinking of you and keeping you in our prayers. Jim had a scary bout with melanoma a while back, but has been cancer free for 5 years. He now puts a heavy duty sunscreen on all of the time when he is outside!

It looks like you are having a blast in Colorado!

God bless,
Sue, Jim, Jennifer, and Sarah

MessageAndy - If there was anyone who could beat this situation it would be you. With the great family support and those wonderful old Princeton classmates, your karma is in good hands. It goes without saying that our prayers are with you.

MessageHey Andy,

First I want you to know that I have been sending up many prayers for you since Angela let me know of the news. You are one of the stongest fighters I have ever come across and know that this bump in the road is nothing but a bump. Know that you have many people here for you and lean on them when you need them. That is what we are all here for... is you. Keep positive and know that we are all doing the same. Best of luck today and especially through the next couple of week. We all love you... Jen

MessageFirst, I'm a long time reader, first time poster to this blog. I've been through something like this cancer thing once before, and I gotta say, I liked it better when it was happening to me and not to one of the best guys I know in this world. (No BS) Like everyone has said, we all know you are one of the most upbeat and positive people around, so keep your head up and you'll be back doing what you do in no time. I've seen the word 'ass' written out way too much so far on this wall, so I'm just gonna quote a great American named Daniel Wallace who once (always) said, and I'm paraphrasing, "Kick this cancer IN THE BUTT!" smilie

MessageAndy, Leah told me about your website and all that was going on. I just wanted to let you know that Michael and I will be praying for you. Please let me know if there is anything I can do for you in addition to praying. I know you have so many people who are supporting you. I just wanted to let you know that I would seriously be willing to help an anyway, if needed. I am sorry that you have to do this now. Your attitude is inspirational and you stay the same sweet person you have always been. We can all learn from you. I will continue to pray. I already have prayed for your surgery today and will continue to do so.
In Christ, Emily
