MessageGreat website, Gary! I am a babyboomer of sorts, so I have vague memories of the Greenville AFB other than experiencing the sounds of jets shreaking over Greenville as a kid, and periodic sonic booms to shake up the neighborhood.

I have a few photos of key sites in Greenville that I've taken last year while visiting Greenville, but none of what was the old air bsse. I'll post them to you, and you can upload them on your site if you'd like.

Thanks for the memories,
Raymond Seid

MessageOk Michel, good to hear from you. Were actualy stationed at GAFB or just there for iommunization shots, etc. Did you make the AF a career? I was already discharged and gone from Greenville in 1957. I was living in CA by then and attending college, studying Electrical Engineering. I currently live in TN. Where are you located?

Hope to hear back from you.

MessageI came to the US in 1957 from France to Leland, MS,rejoigning a sister that was a war bride. Joined the US Air Force and had to get immunizations at the Greenville AFB prior to transfer to Gerrmany. Great souvenirs from this facility that provided training to many NATO pilots. Even has a friend from the French Air Force training at this facility.
