| Message | I went to my regular vet thinking he needed a dental procedure. He calls me and tells me my baby's got inoperable fast-growing malignant cancer of the tongue. The tumor was said to be the size of a silver dollar and very far back in the tongue. No biopsy was done. He wanted to save me some money or so he said. This diagnosis was only possible b/c Rupert was sedated. he weighed in at 13.5 pounds I took him to a holistic vet in Texas who gave me Magnolia Tree Bark (Honokiol) and some Aloe Vera Juice to be given twice a day. Also started the dog on a raw diet (which he really loves btw) After a week and one pound heavier (14lbs 10.5 ounces; perhaps due to the RAW diet?) I took him to a third vet who was willing to do the biopsy but before doing so he did a chest X-Ray which showed fluid around his heart... no spots on his lungs were revealed. his lymph nodes are not swollen. After 2 inconclusive tests I'm really frustrated. what I am supposed to do? Any advice and of course prayers! would be welcome [email protected] Gui Rogano |
