MessageHi,

Your web site was given to me by a friend, Penny Henderson and I am just now beginning to check it out. I am so sorry about your breast cancer. I have not read much, yet but will..... the reason I am writing is that I too, have lobular carcinoma but when they removed two lumps from my left breast (and one from my right breast), they said the margins were clear so I didn't have any further treatment. I do go for yearly mammograms, opted to not take Tamoxifen for a number of reasons, and I will soon be due to go back for another mammogram and I am so frightened! I had my surgery on the left breast in 2005 and in 2006, they noticed something 'suspicious' but nothing was done, for some reason? still not sure why. When I got my mammograms done last year, they said there was no change. I can always kind of forget about it until that time rolls around again and then I am so frightened. I too, am a believer. God has always had his hand on me all my life and I am praying that I will feel at peace and not be so scared!!

Two friends recently had double mastectomies and I am helping one of them weekely so see what she is going through. Her chemo begins next month.

I just had to reach out to you. If you don't mind, could you e-mail me and tell me a little about your story as far as the lobular carcinoma goes - my understanding is that is the better type to have; better than ductal carcinoma. I am at the end of my 'word quota" I see! Dee Lakes

MessageIt is a cold morning here and we are expecting a big snow....I whined. Then I found your site. I prayed..."God, let me not whine, I have so much to be thankful for. Today I will call and make my appointment for the mammogram that I am 2 months behind on scheduling. Thank you for making me realize my blessings and taking care of myself. You are here for a reason, God has a purpose for you. May your day be blessed with better health today. You are loved by those who don't even know you because God loved you first. Blessings.

MessageDeena,I just came upon your blog and wanted to tell you that it toughed my heart. My sister has been battling breast cancer for over 6 years, it has moved to her bones, base of spine and liver. But PRAISE GOD she just had a clean scan and the tumors are gone in the liver. I cannot understand the journey you have both walked but I know you walk not alone. I pray the Lord's GRACE shine upon you and your family today. Delight in Him as He so delights in you more than you can imagine!
I am inspired by your sharing and your gifts. Be encouraged, be blessed, Cynthia
