I know there's strength in numbers and together the Pink Artist group (of 193 members) will raise money for cancer research. 193 friends! | Message | Dear Deena, I accidently came upon your blog and have been following your journey ever since. You are in my thoughts so much and I want to encourage you today. You always sound so uplifting, at least most of the time. I realize you have to be honest too. Our Lord is in control of all things. That is our hope. One of my very favorite verses from the Bible is Proverbs 3:5-6. "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him and He will direct thy paths." He just wants us to rest in Him. He will do all the work . Just trust. When you don't see or understand what He is doing, just try to trust His heart. He loves you so much. What are my joys today ? The feel of cotton fabric as it moves under the sewing machine. The comfort of hot coffee this morning. Warm socks to wear today. Knowing I have heat in my house. Knowing my daddy is in heaven with Jesus. Warm chocolate chip cookies coming fresh out of the oven tonight. Hearing my husband come in the door after work. Hope your evening is good. Will keep you and the family in my prayers. | Message | Hey Sweet Deena; Sorry you're sad today, I'll bet the chemo wreaks havoc with your emotions, too. I posted pictures of flowers and Florida sunshine yesterday, so you can know spring WILL eventually come your way, too. My joys today, I went to choir practice at our new church and enjoyed it.
