MessageI just saw the movie one hour ago... I´d like to know what were you thinking when you make this movie! I think it is deeply brilliant and hard making... Also for the writter.
I`m not an expert in this matter, but a sensitive person.... Congratulations

MessageHey Darren,

I'm a film student at NYU and just wanted to say that your films are SPECTACULAR!! Requiem of a Dream devastated me, The Fountain astounded, The Wrester awed, and Black Swan haunted me with its beauty. I've yet to see Pi. Thanks for the memorable journeys and worlds you've invited me to.

MessageHi Darren.
I went to see your new film Black Swan last night. I was completely transfixed by it. Great viewing. But I need some help.
OK, obviously the mental health of Beth. Then the four huge influences in her life during the film. Mum, epitomising her drive and ambition, but also her greatest fear of never going further than the chorus line. Then Lily, who has the qualities Beth needs to encompass to become the Black Swan (letting go and dancing from her heart rather than striving for technical perfection). The director, being a bit of a sleaze, but basically doing what he needs to to bring out her darker side. And Nina, epitomising what she wants to become.
My qustion is this. Is her Mother really tere, or just part of her haucinations and simply just her drive and ambition alongside her fears. And what has led her to strive for perfection . The only characters that actually interact with the Mum are Beth herself, and Lily. And a fair bit of Lily's part in this film is her halucinations. So is the Mum really there, or just a manifistation of her psych?
Look forward to hearing from you.

MessageDarkness is the light we cannot see yet.

turning negative to positive like in the old film were light becomes darkness and darkness is light, like the dark matter and dark energy in the universe that pushes the galaxy and the visible matter is itself also lights beyond our reach to see.
